The target hiring range for this position will be between $20.85 per hour to $26.07 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Summary:

The Program and Administrative Coordinator is a member of the Department of Safety & Security who supports the Behavioral Consultation Programs division and the Security Systems & Technical Services division. In this role, the Program and Administrative Coordinator handles a broad variety of organizational processes and program activities such as database and records management, provides administrative support for operational meetings, and creates reports based on data analysis.

Specific Responsibilities :
• Provides administrative assistance and attends meetings with Behavioral Consultation Program team members
• Maintains case management system
• Creates and reviews reports for accuracy and completion; merges reports into records management system per guidance
• Conducts data analysis; prepares and generates data tables and summary reports
• Submits statistics to appropriate state agencies and enters data into centralized database
• Responds to subpoenas and prepares court documents in a timely manner and as approved by supervisor; calendars court dates
• Organizes and manages files
• Assists visitors by identifying their need and connecting them to the appropriate Department staff member

Minimum Qualifications:
• Meets deadlines; ability to multi-task and work well in a dynamic environment
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a national fingerprint-based background check

Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)
• Excellent communications (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and systems
• Self-starter, comfortable taking initiative when needed, and willingness to take on new tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working at a public safety agency or higher education institution
• Successful completion of a 4-year course of study at an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience

Preferred Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access
• Experience with case management platforms
