Position Purpose
Serve as the Program Assistant of Student Activities, to include: Determine best practices for the office, implement and evaluate processes and procedures to optimize productivity of staff and ensure coordinated completion of all support functions of the department and maintain current inventory of office supplies.
Provide program assistance to the assistant director of student leadership, assistant director of volunteer services, and the assistant director of fraternity & sorority life. Schedule appointments, maintain departmental calendar. Create and maintain computerized and manual filing systems.
Assist in the preparation of special events.
Responsible for day to day operations in the office to include opening and closing of office and tending to customer service.
Education & Formal Training
Associate's degree (Specify field(s) of study below)

Associate degree in business or related field.
Education may be substituted for experience or experience substituted for education based on the following equivalencies: AA = 2 years; BA/BS = 4 years; MA/MA = 6 years; PhD = 8 years.

Two (2) years of related office experience required.
