Job Summary:

The Program Manager is directly responsible for overseeing academics for four cohorts, where key responsibilities stretch across both academic affairs and student experience. Prior to the class weekend, the Program Manager coordinates with the EMBA team to ensure a smooth and rewarding experience for both our faculty and students. During the class weekend, the Program Manager is a critical resource on the ground to ensure seamless execution of our key objectives.

Please note : Two weekends required per month, as well as some evenings. Occasional domestic and international travel. 

Specific Responsibilities :

Academic Affairs
  • In partnership with the Associate Director of Student Experience, manages the academic operations of a portfolio of courses in the Executive MBA.
  • Works Academic Affairs and Course Support to ensure that all books and materials are available to students on campus and in our learning management system.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for EMBA faculty teaching in the EMBA program
  • Completes administrative activities such as assessment, operations planning, data management and reporting.
  • Prepares academic year course schedule, monitors course registration & enrollments.
  • Counsels students regarding alternatives for course requirements.
  • Gathers student data from various databases to ensure degree requirements are met.
Student Experience
  • In partnership with the Associate Director of Student Experience, manages the overall student experience of the Executive MBA.
  • Supervises student orientation, registration, student life, graduation, etc.
  • Compiles, distributes and tracks communications including, but not limited to, weekly schedule emails, timely announcements, onboarding, event RSVPs, surveys, electives and graduation.
  • Implements an advising system to support all students, including working directly with prospective and enrolled students.
  • Manages event details including communication, venues, presenters, travel arrangements, materials, refreshments and technology requirements.
  • Serves as liaison between administration, facilities, faculty and Kellogg Information Systems to problem solve any issues that occur over the weekend.
  • Actively engages with students during the class weekends to ensure the delivery of a world-class educational experience.
Miscellaneous

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • 1 year program/project administration or other relevant experience.
  • Availability to work on average two weekends per month in order to support the class weekends, as well as some evenings.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years program/project administration or other relevant experience.
  • Understanding of academic culture and higher education program management.
Target hiring range for this position will be between $53,000 - $58,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
