Job Summary/Basic Function

This position will perform various duties and functions, including:
  • Interview and hire qualified tutor/mentors.
  • Design and implement ongoing training to provide updated resources for tutor/mentors.
  • Create and manage tutor/mentor work schedules.
  • Collaborate with Ogden School District administration and teachers to prioritize placement of tutor/mentors.
  • Conduct monthly team meetings for tutor/mentors.
  • Work with the district AVID and GEARUP directors to create and maintain positive relationships with faculty/staff from across the district.
  • Track and collect the necessary data to meet the GEARUP grant requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate and host at least one event per year to promote and increase college enrollment and recruitment.
  • Oversees tutor/mentors, including event coordination, required annual training, and state trauma Informed training.
  • Create marketing materials as needed for the program.

Required Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of related experience
  • Must possess a current Utah Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications

Preferred:
  • Project Management Skills
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft suit
  • Familiar with Canva
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
