The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of the Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs for GED/HSED/ELL students interested in pursuing postsecondary education and/or training for employment. This position requires development, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of IET program activities such as marketing, student recruitment, assessment, orientation, enrollment, case management goal setting, barrier removal, and transition to post-secondary education and/or employment.
This position reports to the Dean, School of Pre-College and Momentum Programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Development and Implementation:
- Develops and implements the new IET Welding program in collaboration with the School of Pre-College and Momentum Programs Dean.
- Coordinates the work of the IET Casual and Workforce Navigator to ensure achievement of the IET program goals, adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems as needed.
- In collaboration with Deans and Faculty Chairs, coordinates training and ongoing professional development in IET methodology for teaching teams.
- Recruits GED/HSED/ELL students in collaboration with Gateway GED/HSED/ELL program staff and faculty and external stakeholders.
- Coordinates and monitors IET program activities such as marketing, student recruitment, assessment, orientation, enrollment, case management goal setting, barrier removal, and transition to post-secondary education and/or employment.
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with students, faculty, administrative leadership, and staff to successfully transition IET completers to post-secondary programs.
- Works collaboratively with GED/HSED/ELL and post-secondary instructors to ensure each student is post-tested and reported in client reporting documents.
- Meets regularly with internal and external stakeholders to help students succeed in their educational and career goals.
- Monitors expenses and adheres to the budget.
- Maintains accurate data and relevant student records, ensuring quality and completeness of data entered.
- Generates relevant reports of IET students and program performance outcomes according to Wisconsin Technical College System requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Regularly review and optimize processes to eliminate redundancy and enhance overall efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE POSITION
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- One (1) year of related experience in recruitment and transition of students from Pre-College and/or Adult Education to post-secondary programs and/or employment.
- Deadline and detail-oriented, with strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and a variety of demands including coordination of events with multiple teams.
- Strong written communication skills; ability to write clear, structured, articulate communications. Ability to effectively supervise and/or direct staff.
- Demonstrated motivational and problem solving capabilities with a high degree of integrity, ethics, and dedication to the mission of the Gateway
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff, and representatives from outside agencies and educational institutions, and the general public while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work as a team member.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and promote a positive working environment.
- Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Google Documents, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
