We are currently seeking a Program Director for Regional Resilience Operations program who will advance the institution's proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life and community service. Part of the part of the Mosaic that is HCC.

Job Summary

Serves as Administrative leader of the program/project by directing programs, services and activities including administrative support and assistance to enrollment, registration, and advising services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for execution and effectiveness of internal controls to ensure operations are effective and efficient. Ensures financial information is reliable and compliant with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

Lead high-level engagement and participation in the growth of the Resilience Center of Excellence, including identifying and developing key curricular programming and offerings, acquiring the latest technology and equipment, and operationalizing instructional delivery.

Responsible for developing and maintaining a high-level of knowledge, including current industry and labor market trends, in the assigned area.

Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating courses and certificate programs in assigned area.

Responsible for identifying certified course instructors. Responsible for supervising, evaluating instruction, providing feedback, and professional development opportunities.

Join related associations and maintain strong industry connections for the purposes of being the content expert to drive program development and instructor recruitment.

Coordinate with HCC instructional design personnel and faculty to develop appropriate student learning outcomes and student-centered pedagogies that acknowledge different learning styles.

Coordinate with Director of Marketing/Communication in the development and execution of a marketing plan that supports the budget goals and with HCC Publications on the design and distribution of printed materials.

Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required
  • 5 years relevant experience, including 2 years supervision experience required

Licensing & Certification

Working Conditions

General office. May frequently be required to walk; stand; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer, photocopier, file cabinets, and calculator. Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, ability to reach and bend, and use 2-step stool while safely lifting and lowering boxes. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
