Program Manager/ Acquisition Specialist

Purpose:

• Valkyrie Enterprises has a need for an Acquisition Specialist / Program Manager who will be a key support to the acquisition Support Team in, San Antonio, Texas.

Job Description:

• The Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for overseeing the cost, schedule and performance of this contract and have demonstrated expertise in personnel resource allocation/supervision and contract management.
• The PM shall have at least 5 years of experience managing projects of similar size, scope and complexity with at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical engineering field, business, or management.
• The Subcontractor must have and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance for the work to be performed and is required to handle and safeguard sensitive and classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
• Shall be able to provide the government with the flexibility to assure on-site base support and the supplemental support for key projects.
• Shall not be involved in the approval process of any documents which would define the Government's requirement for acquisition actions or conduct any evaluation of acquisition documents.
• shall be limited to supporting the Government in a manner that ensures the Government retains inherently governmental decision-making authority; and shall not perform any functions specifically mandated as government employee functions. This restriction includes, but is not limited to, activities that require either the exercise of discretion in applying government authority or the making of value judgments in decision making for the Government.

Qualifications:

• Must have a BA/BS Degree in related field and at least 4 years of experience OR Associates and at least 8 years of experience OR HS Diploma or equivalent and at least 10 years of technical or operational experience.
• Must have at least 8 years' experience with the following:
  • CVN availability planning and execution, CSMP management, work progress validation and scheduling.
  • experience with work scheduling and integration tools such as Ship's Force Integrated Master Scheduling tool.
  • Acquisition Experience--Naval
  • experience in the use of the Organizational Maintenance Management

Security Requirements:

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional travel -less than 10%.

Physical Requirements:

• Communicating with others to exchange information.

Pay Range: $105,000 - $120,000 per year
