The Program Manager & Clinic Coordinator will support the Director of the Institute for Well-Being and Clinical Centers at the Institute for Well-Being (IWB). Collaborate with the Speech & Language Center and Hearing & Balance Center Directors in coordination of off-campus clinical placements and on-campus student, faculty and client scheduling. Responsible for tracking contracts and renewal dates for externship sites. Support other IWB Clinical Centers, including the Hussman Center for Adults with Autism with supervision of programs as needed. Responsible for credentialing/re-credentialing of licensed clinical supervisors. Represent the IWB through community outreach. Some evening hours when programs are running will be required and occasional weekend hours for community outreach

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with the Speech & Language Center and Hearing & Balance Center Directors for securing Off-Campus Clinical Placements each semester, including maintaining spreadsheet to manage expiration dates of contracts, initiating new and renewal of contracts and approval process for submission. Communicate with students regarding placements. Communicate with external agencies regarding contract process from initiation through acceptance for placement. Build network with area agencies and weigh interest level in affiliating with Centers.
  • Assist the Speech & Language Center Director in creating On-Campus clinic schedule, considering student, client and supervisor availability. Communicate with affected parties regarding scheduling obligations and needs. Provide scheduling support to other IWB Center Directors as needed.
  • Support all clinical centers of the IWB. Participate with program assistance and coverage for the Hussman Center for Adults with Autism (HCAA) with the HCAA Program Supervisor as needed. Provide direct one-on-one support to Hussman Center participants needing specialized assistance while participating in programs. Support neurodiverse and neurotypical students in their role at the Hussman Center. Participate in orientations. Able to lead a Hussman Center program in an area of interest. Compile and distribute end of semester reports.
  • Support IWB Director with collection of annual data. Create spreadsheets containing annual report data. Manage the credentialing process for new clinical supervisors and recredentialing existing clinicians. Maintain current credentialing files through national databases.
  • Represent IWB Centers through outreach, community events and information tables at events. Create content for the IWB's social media platforms. Prepare and review materials for dissemination in a variety of formats.
  • Support the IWB and College of Health Professions with other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two years of experience in a health care setting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Effectively prioritize key tasks, shifting to higher priorities when needed.
  • Strong customer service skills, organizational and time management skills to meet required deadlines.
  • Ability to develop efficient practices and systems and learn new skills.
  • Multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.
  • Maintain confidentiality.


Preferred:

  • Previous experience in health care setting.
  • Degree in professional health related field.


Salary and Benefits

$65,000 annually and a contract that offers annual leave, holidays, sick days and tuition remission.
