The Program Manager II of the John Lewis Public Administration program provides support for all areas relating to program outcomes. The Program Manager II will work closely with the Program Director to plan, execute, and continuously improve systems that build external relationships, provide quality experiences for program students, and enable the team's faculty and staff to function effectively.  The Program Manager II also will lead the planning committee for the annual Program Residency.

Tulane continues to grow its progressive public administration program. Building upon initial successes, the program has a need to build and maintain capacity for stakeholder engagement and relationships, student experiential learning opportunities, and recruiting pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and collaborative skills in order to be successful working with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders. This position requires a high initiative, and attention to detail, aptitude in assigning priorities, and passion for learning and developing systems and processes in order to ensure high team functioning and program success.

•           Bachelor's Degree in public administration or related field

•           3 years of directly related experience

•           Experience working with community and stakeholder engagement, OR applied research project management, OR event planning, OR student success initiatives

•          Master's Degree in Public Administration or a related field

•          Experience working with regional university accreditation or specialized program accreditation procedures and standards

•          Expertise in serving as a student advocate

•          Experience with online education and learning management systems, Canvas preferred

•          Successful experience working with databases, information technology, and web-based programs

•          Established professional networks in state government, local government, or a topical public policy arena relevant to Public Administration Program Learning Outcomes.
