Amazon's Reliability and Maintenance Engineering Worldwide Talent Development (RME WWTD) team is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to create and deliver the technical learning content strategy, evaluate quality and accuracy of the curriculums, develop mechanisms to track new product intake (NPI), and generate instructional materials. In this role, you will engage across ATS, MSP, Robotics, and other centralized teams to drive the vision for an accurate technical learning catalog for the equipment that RME is responsible to maintain for a global audience. This role calls for an individual who is technically proficient on equipment with the ability to gain credibility with RME site leaders and key stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Role requires up to 40% travel.

Key job responsibilities

• \tCoordinate authoring of content and/or updates for existing training materials from learning intakes to release to RME network, include development of facilitation guides and checklists

• \tAssess the skills of technicians trained and effectiveness of training methodologies to determine knowledge transfer and retention

• \tContinuously improve upon program standard works to promote sustainable and efficient process for technical learning

• \tTake ownership of program communication concerning technical learning, expediting progress by making timely decisions, resolving obstacles (e.g., issues hindering progress), and escalating matters as needed to ensure smooth advancement

• \tCollaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and subject matter experts to develop, implement, and evaluate learning initiatives

About the team

The Amazon Reliability and Maintenance Engineering team maintains and optimizes technologies ranging from large, modern, purpose-built warehouses utilizing robotics and high-volume conveyance all the way through the value chain to small, high speed warehouses placed as close to our customers as possible. We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Customer Fulfillment, Sort Center/Air, and Delivery Network. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of program or project management experience

- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
