The Program Manager is an innovative, driven, technically-capable, problem-solver who leads highly visible, multidisciplinary projects/programs. This individual is proficient in project management, process improvement and data analysis.

The program manager will be tasked with the development of the following areas:
  • Brand recognition and referral management
  • Comprehensive Spine Center operational workflows (inpatient and outpatient)
  • Cost effectiveness
  • Patient centered spine care

The Program Manager is committed to superior service and effective, proactive communication, both internally with peer staff and externally with other Departments. The Program Manager takes ownership of problems; provides leadership in developing solutions, and is committed to collaborative, cooperation with fellow team members.

Data Analysis
  • Partners with managers, providers and the administrative team to design dashboards/reports
  • Runs and distributes reports on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis
  • Prioritizes requests for ad hoc data reports
  • Analyzes operational data and recommends areas of improvement
  • Develops reports and presentations that support senior leadership


Project Management/Process Improvement
  • The Program Manager serves as a member of the Spine Surgery Operations Leadership Team
  • Establishes and maintains ongoing process improvement and quality control projects which support the Comprehensive Spine Center, ambulatory operations, hospital operations
  • Oversees and maintains standardized care plans with the spine multidisciplinary team including pre-op, post-op and discharge orders. Works with Director to maintain and oversees the coordination of patient education materials, spine care guide and online videos. Tracks patient outcomes and patient and family experiences and makes needed adjustments, in collaboration with executive and physician leadership.
  • Responsible for business development activities in the Comprehensive Spine Center including hospital collaborations, physician outreach, continuing medical education programs and community outreach.
  • Ensures the implementation of strategic business plans that aligns with the Spine Center's vision, strategic plans, and goals and monitors performance
  • Collaborates with Jefferson Marketing team and Spine physician leadership to develop marketing and communication tactics that support strategies, direction, and increase reputation in the community
  • Collaborates with the Senior Administrator to prioritize requests for projects
  • Builds trust and relationships within every level of the organization
  • Works independently to proactively identify areas of need and solve problems
  • Facilitates projects from inception to completion
  • Holds project team members accountable to timelines and deliverables
  • Understands or develops an understanding of the latest project management and process improvement tools
  • Participates in wide range of projects and workgroups
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications

BA/BS in Business or related field .

Master's degree preferred.

Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification or Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.

LEAN/Six Sigma certification preferred.
