The Supreme Court of Ohio is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Project Administrator within the information Technology Division. The Project Administrator performs administrative tasks for the IT Project Management Office. Supports the project staff by facilitating logistics, scheduling, drafting reports, developing presentations, and supporting project managers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

What you will do:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Assist team members with scheduling meetings and preparing materials and/or coordinating arrangements for meetings and conferences.

Assist team members with the facilitation of requirements gathering sessions with internal and external resources.

Assist project managers in the documentation, tracking, and execution of testing software.

Assist project managers in keeping project plans/schedules updated.

Assist in managing library of project documentation.

Ensure accuracy of project reporting.

Provide administrative support for the IT Project Management Office including word processing, creating spreadsheets, filing, copying, notetaking, and scheduling.

Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations by assembling relevant data, compiling statistics, and collecting information as directed; proofreads materials for accuracy and completeness.

Assist in tracking expenses and coordinating the payment of invoices for Information Technology Division.

Track requests for proposals, quotes, and information from vendors; consolidate bids for consideration and order items as approved by the IT Director.

Perform or coordinate a variety of special projects as assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

The ability to perform a variety of administrative assignments with minimal direction using a high degree of independent judgment, demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and TEAMS is required. The ability to work in a busy environment and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. The ability to adjust to changing demands and the ability to ensure deadlines are met.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the Court and its constituents, including the public, legislators, attorneys, and judges and their staff. Tactful and discreet communication, both oral and written is required.

A high school education and six or more years of progressively responsible administrative experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience is required. Associate degree or higher is preferred. Two years' experience supporting project management offices or IT above strongly preferred. Familiarity with project management processing tools a plus.
