A Project Assistant supports the Project Manager, Project Team, and Sr. Accountant to ensure that project requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Cost Proposals
  • Assisting with Project Initiation and documentation
  • Project Setup
  • Creating Data Storage Locations
  • Entering Project Cost Forecasts
  • Supporting/Developing Project Review Forms
  • Monitoring Project Costs
  • Facilitating Project Reviews
  • Managing Project Data
  • Submitting Procurement Requests for Subcontracts
  • Updating Projects' Physical Percent Complete
  • Collaborating with the Project Accountant for monthly invoicing
  • Meeting coordination and minutes
  • Deliverable tracking
  • Travel Coordination as needed
  • Assisting with Safety, Health, and Environmental procedures and documentation
  • Creating and updating Project SharePoint Sites
  • Assisting with Project Close-out and documentation
  • Supporting Project Manager and project team as needed
  • Supporting Sr. Accountant
  • Assisting with tax and insurance reporting as needed


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 1 years related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
