Project Cost Analyst

Our client, in the utility industry is seeking a Project Cost Analyst to join their team!

Job Title: Project Cost Analyst

Location: Columbus,OH (Hybrid)

Pay Range: 35-39/hr.

What's the Job?

• Support the EPC Team in managing project costs, budgets, and schedules
• Coordinate with PMs to oversee cost reporting for multiple projects
• Monitor and update project budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Assist in creating work orders and collaborate with external contractors and vendors
• Provide training and develop tools for continuous process improvement
• Coordinate project meetings and documentation with project team members
• Prepare and monitor project spending forecasts and budget variances
• Collaborate on variance reporting and establish baseline budgets
• Perform departmental functions including tracking unvouchered liabilities and managing work order processes
• Assist in contract processes, including cost analysis and tracking

What's Needed?

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in utility operations, project management, cost tracking, and budget management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight trips
• Understanding of project management standards and best practices
