Work you'll do/Responsibilities
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
  • Well experienced in infrastructure management with the help of remote management tools
  • Responsible for attending trouble tickets & issue calls from various customers with various help desk tools
  • Responsible for imaging of new laptops (configuration, installation)
  • Responsible for infrastructure monitoring services, routine and preventive maintenance, service restoration, and providing assurance to customers
  • Install, configure, and triage software and hardware related issues
  • Asset management - Keeping up the inventory and issuing/collecting the laptops from end users
  • Set up accounts and workstations
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies

Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility, resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions, Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of all around desktop support experience
  • Asset management experience - Absolute Asset Management software
  • Desktop Operating system knowledge
  • 3 years of experience with Desktop management / support skills
  • 3 years of experience with asset management tools
  • Microsoft Intune - Asset's knowledge
  • Hardware & Networking Concepts
  • Hardware troubleshooting
  • Microsoft standard office product knowledge
  • Basic network skill sets
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
