Work you'll do/Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain highly performant Appian and API-driven web services on our stack (React, Java SpringBoot, Appian, Symphony, MuleSoft)
  • Design, implement and enhance Appian applications, APIs and utilities to industry / company standards
  • Work with our platform team to develop and iterate on user interfaces that assist in digitizing workflows and drive sequence and simplicity to financial data
  • Interact with engineering members across the organization to ensure consistency in engineering practices and foster active exchange of ideas
  • Perform code reviews that improve overall system health. Review performance, security, and code flexibility.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g. daily standup, release and sprint planning, demos, etc)
  • Working closely with business partners to understand, conduct impact analysis and prepare technical user stories for development
  • Participate in analysis, design and new development of Appian-based applications.
  • Triage / troubleshoot / debug / resolve incidents and outages in the Appian application(s) and any software-related issues raised by end users (e.g. functionality issues) and technical issues (e.g. API service endpoint issues)
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Our operate services within CTO include:
  • Foundry Services: Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement
  • Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products
Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience with Appian (20.x and above) application development
  • Appian Analyst and Associate, Senior or Lead Developer Level Certifications
  • Strong experience in implementing Appian applications and REST API/microservice -integrated solutions
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
