Summary

DPS Group is seeking a talented Project Engineer who has electrical experience to support our pharmaceutical client in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area. Successful candidates will have strong experience with electrical processes and familiarity with electrical and standby power systems in addition to commissioning and validation procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for prioritization of electrical processes in preparation for CQV activities.
  • Responsible for managing cross functional teams, aligning project deliverables between internal and external stakeholders, and developing project schedules to ensure key milestones are in line with equipment lead times.
  • Develop project estimates and conduct risk assessments on same.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and conduct risk assessments on same.
  • Provide process optimization strategies and/or trouble shooting of operational issues of site utilities operation and Electrical systems.
  • Review/update system specification document (URS).
  • Update commissioning plan (CP) for standby power system
  • Develop commissioning verification (COMV) protocol.
  • Update sensor risk assessment (SRA).
  • Update SOPs and work instructions as necessary.
  • Update CMMS.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Life Science related field.
  • 5+ years of Life Science Capital Project experience. Knowledge of electrical and power systems. Experience with commissioning and validation procedures in a GMP environment.
  • Understanding of diverse engineering principles and application to the design and implementation of major system modifications, experiments, process and/or capital projects.
  • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
