A client in Dallas, TX is looking for a Project Engineer to join the Transportation Team. The clients the Transportation team represent are across the full spectrum of the Transportation industry, State, RMA's, County, Municipal, Rail, and private entities, etc.

* Performing design calculations, preparing plans, and directing schematic designs for TxDOT and local government projects.

* Using advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices.

* Interacting with task leaders, team members, clients, and other consultants.

* Exercising judgment in independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.

* Mentoring direct reports, and conveying knowledge to others

* Team lunches/breakfasts and social activities

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering

* Licensed as a Professional Engineer

* 5-7+ years of experience within transportation/highway

* 5+ years of experience with MicroStation, Geopak (or Open Roads) and TxDOT procedures

* Effective communication skills to engage with other employee-owners.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience with MicroStation ORD

* Experience with Large Scale TxDOT Projects

* Advanced skills in specialized software programs

* Technical Training Experience
