Job description:
Capgemini is looking for a Product Owner local to Philadelphia PA with the following skill-sets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Hands on Product Owner experience required in Agile development environments of e2e project/program deliverables
  • Incorporating feature requests: Integrating new product features into the product roadmap.
  • Experienced in creating Features as well as user stories for UI, APIs and backend design/business logic
  • Grooming and prioritizing backlog: Organizing and ranking product backlog items based on their importance, grooming, and refinement efforts.
  • Work with customers, partners, and team members to define and prioritize product roadmap.
  • Developing user stories: Creating concise descriptions of user needs for the development team.
  • Organize epics, features and user stories in Jira to enable status tracking and requirements traceability
  • Setting sprint goals: Figuring out objectives for each sprint cycle. Agile velocity. Guide agile development and maintain a healthy Product Backlog.
  • Writing acceptance tests: Creating tests to confirm the product meets predefined criteria.
  • Planning releases and upgrades: Scheduling product launches and updates. End client Demo, presentation, documentation skills.
  • Following progress of work: Monitoring the progress of sprints and addressing issues. Continuously improve product features and performance.
  • Analyzing preferences and requests: Studying end user needs and feedback. Gather user feedback and translate into actionable enhancements.
  • Refining our agile methodology: Improving agile processes based on results and feedback. Exposure to Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Provide expertise, coaching, and direction to engineers.
  • Keeping track of industry trends: Staying updated with the latest trends in the industry., and insights programs.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing/Operational Testing (UAT/OT) to develop UAT plans and coordinate execution across teams.
Required Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data, metrics and providing practical business insights.
  • Ability to rapidly assess, analyze and resolve complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simple and concise communication.
  • Experience with release and deployments for a NA Telecom communications, entertainment, and cable products and services.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data governance, data quality management, and data integration.
  • Understand NFRs required for creating the integrations; Implement architectural strategies and technical designs.
  • Ability to visualize E2E Solution by translating business requirements across domains.
  • Ability to drive Low Level and Detailed Design for impacted applications; Present solutions to leadership and internal partners.
  • Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with collaborators at all levels of the organization, including executives, business users, and technical teams.
  • Lead development, testing, migrations, and application onboarding.
  • Support incident resolution, regulatory compliance, and customer success.
  • Applying technology expertise to grasp business needs and resolve struggles related to master data management. Assessing the business impact and value of initiatives, collaborating with diverse teams, staying abreast of market trends, and ensuring competitiveness and innovation in finding effective solutions.
  • Ongoing commitment to learning about industry trends, new technologies, and standard methodologies.
  • Must have worked closely with client's Sales, Marketing and Product SME to define Product model, end to end customer experience to align with the client's Commercial Catalog, CPQ(Configure, Price, Quote),and EPC(Enterprise Product Catalog) and their OSS/BSS eco system.
  • Licenses and Certifications:Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO) / Agile or SAFe Product Owner certificate - POPM
