The Project Management Manager is expected to be a mentor and advisor to project managers and a thought-leader and ambassador for Tyler project management processes. In addition, the Project Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the work of project management personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as an experienced point of contact for project managers to resolve project management issues.
  • Provides project support for escalations and risks to ensure client success.
  • Performs ongoing quality control tasks such as project audits to ensure project management deliverables are in compliance with contracted obligations.
  • Reviews project plans for compliance with standard processes.
  • Monitors and reports on team contribution to revenue targets and departmental goals.
  • Monitors project milestones, deliverables, budget compliance, client health, and other project management oversight.
  • Serves as liaison with Accounting for project management escalations.
  • Reviews contracts to determine appropriate PM assignment for new projects.
  • Collaborates with Director in identifying and developing continuing education opportunities for project management team.
  • Collaborates with other Department Managers to develop and implement best practices for the organization.
  • Mentors project managers in relevant soft skills, including time management, effective communication, risk management, and conflict management.
  • Recommends and develops project management process improvement.
  • Obtains regular feedback from staff and/or clients regarding project quality to continually find ways to improve processes and ensure an efficient and effective client experience
  • Commits to expanding project management skills and maintaining advanced knowledge of the Tyler PMO processes, tools and templates.
  • Supports all of Professional Services as ChangePoint SME.
  • Demonstrates awareness of and adherence to Company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Safety Handbook. These include, but are not limited to, Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Business Ethics, and Anti-Harassment policies.
  • Involves occasional travel.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or comparable work experience.
  • Current PMP certification and ongoing maintenance of certification required
  • 3-5 years of experience as an enterprise-level Project Manager. Solid and proven project management experience is essential.

  • Has a previously demonstrated and proven track record in increasing revenue, profitability, and streamlining efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasion skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude.
  • Valid driver's license.


State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements
Salary will generally fall between $59,451 - $102,000 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
