The PMO Analyst is an integral member of the client project team, responsible to work with our internal departments and management team as they collect and review data and use findings to optimize processes and develop stronger, more effective business strategies. 

The analyst will use creativity and technical skills to locate data sources, mine, review, validate, and store data, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and use findings to develop strategies to reduce costs, improve processes and practices, and increase efficiency, quality, security, and consistency. 

You will also create reports and presentations and summarize complex information.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create management dashboards, report on KPIs and metrics, and answer key business questions to help increase quality and reduce the costs of service delivery.

Prepare reports based on performance analysis and presenting to management on demand. Able to provide the latest data to engage in fact-based discussions with the Senior management.

Provide Real-time visibility into data and predictive forecasts for enhanced decision-making.

Setting up thresholds, such as all-time highs, lows, or predefined values that automatically generate alerts.

Provide Text analytics, which goes beyond structured data to extract trends and patterns from freeform data fields.

Workbench proficiency with interactive filtering that provides end-to-end transparency across processes and timelines.

Analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.

Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution.

Research, gather and synthesize information.

Qualifications for analyst, PMO

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional environment

Strong PC, internet, and computer skills

Practitioner–level Knowledge of formal portfolio or project management methodology

Analyze resource utilization across the portfolio and identify areas of under/over-allocation

Support the development of Steering Committee & Executive Council (4Box) presentations

Communicate portfolio risks and impacts to Project Managers

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel (VBA preferred), Tableau, ServiceNow.

Must Haves:

• 5-10 years of senior PMO experience

• 5 years of project management experience

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to track KPIs

• Experience with ServiceNow

• Expert proficiency in MS Excel

• Experience with Power BI

• Background in manufacturing or construction (please do not submit candidates with an IT background)
