Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Management Specialist 3 for a contract opportunity in Mascoutah, IL.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives. Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project. Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers. Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree and 6 or more years' project management work experience
• Experience working in a project manager role, managing many tasks in an effort to meet critical deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working in a project manager role in an effort to stand up or integrate facilities operations for intended readiness

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

TRAVEL: YES
Will need to travel to St. Louis, MO approx. twice a month.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
