Summary:

This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering successful data-driven projects on a cloud platform. This position is responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from intake and planning to execution and delivery, ensuring our data platform provides maximum value to the organization.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinate simultaneous data and analytics projects with multiple stakeholders, within budget and deliver projects on time.
• Partner with business stakeholders and business analysts to understand data needs, define project scope, and translate them into actionable project plans. Facilitate clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage the project lifecycle using Agile methodologies, including defining user stories, backlog management, and sprint planning. Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right team members are assigned to each project task. Track project progress and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Manage project risks and dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues and escalating to management as needed. Monitor and report on project Key Performance Indicators to ensure we are delivering value from the Azure data platform.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and Azure cloud services.
• Demonstrate Thought Leadership in discussions with business partners to ensure delivery of the most effective solutions for the identified business objectives.
• Experience in design and development of data pipelines and extract, transform, and load (ETL) using ADF and/or Spark Notebook to move data from relational/structured/semi-structured data from source to data lake to data warehouse on Azure and reporting in Power BI.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the data analytics or IT field.
• Proven experience using Agile methodologies for project delivery. Strong understanding of data analytics concepts and the data project lifecycle. Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, with a strong preference for Microsoft. Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Travel: Up to 5%
