Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to be based in Ontario, CA.
- Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
- Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
- Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
- Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other Engineering discipline + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain California PE within twelve months if not currently registered in California
- Ability to proactively communicate and lead department staff
- Minimum of 12 years of experience which reflect a progressively increasing level of leadership and responsibility
- Experience with business development and client relations
- Project management experience leading small to medium sized highway projects; well-versed in all aspects of project development
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
