Leads multi-disciplinary project teams

Responsible for schedule and budget development

Communicate and manage the customer relationships as the primary point of contact

Set reasonable expectations, identify potential issues and share alternatives

Perform effective upfront project planning and advocacy of operational objectives to minimize costs and change orders, identify risks and maximize efficiency through negotiation and conflict resolution

Validate and refine the scope of assigned project and decide logical action to meet project requirements and deadlines

Ensure compliance with codes, standards, design criteria, operation and maintenance requirements

Report on project and program progress as directed

Gather, consolidate and analyze facts in relation to project requirements

Supports emergency response work as requested

Required Skills & Experience

Four plus years of work experience in project management/construction related roles

Knowledge of utility methods, techniques, and procedures

Ability to read construction drawings

Basic knowledge in project management discipline to effectively arrange resources and manage multiple small to medium complexity projects in a cross-functional environment

Customer and team oriented, collaborative attitude, flexible, an understanding of the business issues driving the need for the project

Leadership traits that can energize a multidisciplinary work team to respond to business needs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline

Advanced Project Management Training and Project Management or Construction Management Certification from an accredited institution (PMI or College)

Familiarity with Ariba, SAP, or SharePoint
