An Accessibility project manager's main role is to make sure that products and services meet the requirements of accessibility and usability standards. This person will collaborate with the current central accessibility team members in their regular tasks and projects.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist the central accessibility team with helping product teams meet and sustain accessibility standards, and design user-friendly products.
• Perform project management tasks, such as tracking outcomes, creating status updates, communicating with product teams, and overseeing successful completion of project objectives.
• Answer questions from product teams about accessibility technical guidance, programs, processes, data, and policies.
• Help improve the accessibility program data gathering and organization.
• Help with documentation of accessibility program processes.
• Review accessibility issues and test pass results to ensure they comply with established quality criteria.
• Conduct data analysis and create visualization/dashboarding that leads to actionable recommendations.
Skills:
• Knowledge and application of accessibility best practices, per W3C WAI guidelines and specifications (WCAG, WI-ARIA etc.), Section 508 and other evolving accessibility standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders and teams to improve data and business processes.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with great attention to detail.
• Project management skills and the ability to work well and meet deadlines with different priorities in a highly collaborative agile environment.
• A willingness to learn and take on new challenges as they come up.
• Preferred: Sharepoint, Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, advanced MS Office skills.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58-62/hr . Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
