Experis is looking for a Project Manager with Scrum Master experience for a contract position with one of our leading clients in Conshohocken, Pa - this role is 100% remote. Consultant will need to work EST hours and should sit in the EST or CST time zones.

Role : Scrum Master/Project Manager
  • This position would be a hybrid role - 50% of the time this resource would be acting as a Scrum Master and 50% of the time they will be acting as an IT Project Manager. NOT looking for an Agile Coach.


Job Summary: Looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Scrum Master & Project Manager, responsible for facilitating the Scrum framework for our development teams while also managing and executing projects. This hybrid role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of agile principles, and traditional project management expertise. They will be running 50% Scrum Master and 50% Project Manager.
Required Skills:
1- CSM - Certified Scrum Master
2- IT Background managing Application Development projects
3- PM Soft Skills: Strong Facilitator - Communication, C Suite presentation skills; Someone who is able to take ownership to drive the project, and possesses an entrepreneurial skillset; not a task/order taker; Create structure around the project; A focus on project management, not project administration
4- Financial Acumen: Provides overall financial direction for the projects to manage the development of budgets, controls, and measurements to monitor project progress; Participates in identifying project costs, resource allocation, and project schedule changes.
5- Develops, refines, validates, and manages project plans to ensure 95% on-time and on-budget delivery initiatives across the enterprise.
6- Responsible for utilizing project management methods, standards, best practices, and project integration as well as the coordination of all internal and external resources required to complete assigned projects.
7- Provides timely and concise communications to functional leadership regarding project status and pending issues. Confirm and pursue deliverables across sub-workstreams
8- Analyzes processes and makes recommendations for optimizing resources and product delivery. Drive towards standardization.
9- Develops project plans based on specifications provided by Stakeholders and portfolio management staff and manage the effective execution of the initiatives.
10- Builds consensus among multiple process leads relative to project scope, task execution, staffing, and issue resolution.
11- Brokers services vendors on behalf of the business area represented.
12- Identifies potential risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions within the project; and escalates accordingly. Proactively manages issues.
13- Frequently interacts with other staff including business area management, portfolio managers, vendors, consultants, and other contractors.
