Position Title: Project Mgr. II
Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA - Hybrid 2-3x weekly
Describe the function of your group within the bank and how that impacts PNC on a larger scale
Portfolio Mgmt. Org - An outcome driven team that:
• Supports enterprise fraud group
• Supports the delivery of strategic initiative planned and unplanned
• Has a strong desire to measure performance based on fraud loss, customer experience, and business growth
Describe the current initiatives/project(s) that this resource will be impacting:
This group has a handful of initiatives that they are working on dependent on the selected candidates strong suits they will make a placement decision.
Areas of need:
• Customer communication (bi lateral comm with customer)
• Major data initiatives (building out a data platform)
• Models to combat fraud loss
• Onboarding of transactions for fraud coverage [addressing and closing gaps]
TEAM CULTURE & BACKGROUND:
What type of industry background do you feel would make someone successful in this role:
• Technology background --- [Agile Release Team]
• Tech mind set (PO or Scrum Master background could be helpful)
Describe the dynamic of your team and where this candidate will fit into the overall environment
Team Make-Up:
• HM - 3 direct reports ( 3 -4 reports under each direct report)
• Working often collaboratively with Project Administrative group are partners 'dotted line back to the org so to speak'
The Group Culture:
• Collaboration as a group consistently
• Promote in office days on the same day due to mentorship and connectivity, and develop
POSITION PROFILE:
Describe the role and the key responsibilities in order of which they will be doing day 1 and frequently followed by those they will be doing as the project/work progresses
- Understand project life cycle initiation to close
- Planning and execution of the assigned initiative
- Understanding project time, budgeting, scope (triple triangle)
- Partnering with stakeholders
- Monitoring reports for quality
- Logging plans into the PM software throughout the enterprise.
Describe the must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version) of the position in priority order:
- IT background from a PM standpoint to understand the delivery lifecycle
- SAFe/Agile
- Agile Methodologies
