Project\/Program Manager - Health Plan

Job Summary:  

We are seeking a Project/Program Manager with healthcare experience to oversee and manage smaller programs or specific phases of larger programs. The ideal candidate will ensure that all activities align with program objectives and goals, monitor progress to ensure timely delivery, and recommend or implement changes to optimize outcomes. This role requires a combination of healthcare knowledge, IT background, and proficiency in MS Suite.  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Manage and administer smaller programs or a phase of a larger program to align with objectives.  

• Assess needs and coordinate resources to improve existing programs.  

• Monitor progress to ensure overall program goals, schedules, and benefits are achieved.  

• Document and present program results through reports, outcome studies, presentations, and publications.  

• Prepare program reports for superiors and recommend program or process changes as needed.  

• Control expenditures in line with budget allocations and agreed-upon spending plans.  

• Manage vendor relationships and ensure vendors meet service level agreements, where applicable.  

Required Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in a relevant field.  

• 3+ years of experience in a related field.  

• In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of relevant experience.  

• Strong proficiency in MS Suite.  

• Healthcare experience required.  

• IT background recommended.
