Contribute to Program and Project management and performance by providing support to operational teams.
Assist in achieving cost (RC & NRC, Estimate at Completion), delivery, and quality objectives across all projects.
Assist in managing risks and opportunities with respect to costs and schedules across all projects.
Synchronize planning of project schedules and resources.
Report irregularities regarding planned cost and schedule objectives.
Consolidate and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
Assist in the estimating process and the development of the annual Design Engineering department budget.
Maintain Skills Matrix file for the Design Engineering department.
Create and deliver summary project performance reports to senior management.
Assist tiger teams with task completion efforts.
Make recommendations for continuous process improvements.
Other duties as assigned by the VP of Engineering
Travel specifictity
Limited travel may be required for training and to visit other business locations.
Candidate skills & requirements
Proficiency in Program and Project management skills.
Proficiency in producing and maintaining schedules.
Proficiency in basic accounting principles.
Understanding of aerospace change management procedures.
Ability to conduct meetings.
Ability to generate and deliver status reports.
Project Management certificate preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
Knowledge of APQP.
Knowledge of Safran One Develop and Prompt methodologies is a plus.
