Piper Companies is looking for an Proposal Manager to join a consulting engineering firm located in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities of the Proposal Manager include:

• Keeping relationships with different professional and community organizations ( ex: SMPS)
• Review RFPs to develop proposal outlines while keeping compliance with the requirements
• Use teamwork to help created proposals, presentation materials, and different marketing efforts
• Work ahead of the RFP release by creating pursuit plans and client outreach
• Making sure all timelines are met by creating responses to qualifications to make sure all schedules are met
• Assist with corporate marketing and proposal development processes which include go/no-go decisions, marketing strategies, and the production of complex technical proposals
• Ensuring on time delivery of SOQs/proposals
• Create SOQs and proposals involving editing, graphics, and digital and print reproduction preparation while ensuring compliance to make sure the RFQ/RFP responses are compliant
• Give out RFPs and RFQs for decisions and to track pre-submittal meeting schedules
• Keep track and give all notes regarding the pre-submittal and public sector meetings

Qualifications for the Proposal Manager include:

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience recommended
• Preferred experience in Mentoring, SMPS or other relevant industry workshops, familiar with Six Domains of Professional Service Marketing, willing to get CPSM certification
• Systems experience needed: InDesign, Deltek, Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation for the Proposal Manager includes:

• Rate Range:
  • $60,000 - $80,000 for Proposal Coordinator *Depending on experience*
  • $80,000 - 110,000 for Proposal Manager *Depending on experience*
