Position Summary:
Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned area or function.
Reports to: Manager
FLSA: Non-exempt
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.

Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with
performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.

Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.

Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.

Identifies and implements systems to streamline and gain efficiencies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education
X High school diploma or equivalent • Preferred X Required
X Associate's degree X Preferred • Required
*Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Must have understanding and working knowledge of practice softwares (Athena and Practice Partner) and billing process.

X 1 year health care experience • Preferred X Required
X 6 months medical record experience X Preferred • Required
X 3 years physician practice experience X Preferred • Required
