The Psychiatric Counselor Level II provides a variety of patient care activities, including individual and group counseling in the context of patients' treatment plans.

This position reports to the Counseling and Group Program Coordinator and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, education, psychology, or related allied health field from an accredited school required
• Current Massachusetts licensure required
• Current CPR certification required
• CPI certification required within 90 days
• Minimum of 1-3 years experience working with the mentally ill and substance abuse populations required
