We are currently seeking a part-time, 16 hours per week, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a psychiatric and mental health focus for medication management. They are responsible for initial mental health/psychiatric evaluations, medication prescribing and follow up. They will:

• Provide psychiatric assessments
• Perform rounds
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies
• Order medications
• Manage ongoing care through consultation with our psychiatrist

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner studies
• Current active and unrestricted State of Minnesota License from the board of medicine/nursing
• DEA Registration
• Knowledge of regulatory standards governing care delivery and operations
• Proficient in the use of computers; experience with Electronic Health Records is preferred
• Candidates with 1 year of experience post masters/doctorate degree are strongly preferred
