Position Description:
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Work Location: Psychiatry Clinic, Community Care Building

Provides direct clinical social work services to community psychiatry patients, including: individual, group and family psychotherapy; patient and family education, consultation, facilitates intake evaluation clinics; assists psychiatrists in medication management; and provides some teaching in area of expertise.

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Master's degree from an accredited school of social work. Must also adhere to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics and be licensed or eligible for licensure on the graduate level.

Preferred: Adult, child and adolescent mental health experience

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Required: LICSW licensure by the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners. License must be obtained with six (6) months of hire.
