What You'll Do:
  • Responsible for 24/7 coverage of two units.
  • Function as clinical and administrative leader and back up for other managers.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical providers and directors to provide quality recovery focused treatment.
  • Responsible for competency evaluation of staff and corrective/disciplinary actions.
  • Resolve issues as they arise using sound problem solving skills.
This is an "in person" vacancy requiring you to work on site at the hospital, however, there is some flexibility with the hours of work.

We are accepting applications for a Psychiatric/DD Nurse Manager, within the Staff Training/Orientation Department, headquartered at Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare, 2200 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43223.

Qualifications

Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code; 36 mos. exp. in psychiatric nursing or delivery of nursing services to persons with developmental disabilities; completion of undergraduate core program in nursing; 18 mos. trg. or 18 mos. exp. in supervision; 18 mos. trg. or 18 mos. exp. in management; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in counseling; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in public relations.
