Multiple Shifts Available :
UAB Medicine supports work/life balance. The shifts available for this unit are:
- (3) 10 Hour Shifts Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday, yet compensated for 40 hours.

Job Description:
To evaluate, plan, direct, and administer programs of physical therapy as prescribed by the referring physician and as evidenced by the patient's needs. To complete patient-related documentation, ensuring content and timeliness to meet all professional requirements and legal/regulatory specifications. To direct activities of Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Attendants, evaluate job performance of peers, assistants and attendants, trains and orients new departmental staff, and participates in clinical training and supervision of assigned students and interns. To work in Acute Care setting at Main and Highlands campuses as assigned. To commit to work three (3) 10-hour shifts Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently registered as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or (RPT) by the State of Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
