Description

POSITION FUNCTION/PURPOSE:

Responsible for assisting with the implementation of the Assessment program by interacting with campus test coordinators and other school staff with accurate information on testing procedures, test administration, proper coding, quality control of answer documents, administration of assessments and student data correction.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist in the development of written testing procedures
  • Data input of enrollment and student data corrections
  • Administer miscellaneous testing conducted by the district
  • Interact with district instructional staff regarding assessments
  • Keep abreast of technical and professional trends and developments impacting assigned projects and disseminate this information to appropriate personnel as needed
  • Performs any additional duties as assigned by the assigned Director


Minimum $20.32 Per Hour



Selected individuals for Dallas Independent School District positions will be placed according to compensation guidelines. A campus-based employee may not assume a new position for which he/she was selected based upon the posting process until the end of the current semester, unless approved by the chief officer - Human Capital Management.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Accredited Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in education or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to produce written documents and formulate procedures for testing programs
  • Must have strategic and operational planning skills required in implementing districtwide state and national assessments projects
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with the community, district staff members and the public at large
