Cuero Regional Hospital is searching for a PRN Purchasing Agent 1 in the Materials Management Department.

Job Description:
  • The Purchasing agent is responsible for the receipt, storage and distribution of all materials delivered to the MM Department.
  • The Purchasing agent is responsible for the PAR level system in assigned departments and processing handhelds to restock departments.
  • The agent renders self available, when responsibilities have been met, to assist in areas that may require assistance within the materials department.
  • Responsibilities will also include counting, scanning, stocking and keeping department inventories organized.
  • The agent will assist with shipping and receiving of supplies.
  • They will help to complete tasks in the MM Department that may not within the job description.
Qualifications:
  • High School/GED OR 5 years of equivalent work experience
  • Hospital experience a plus
  • Willing to train
