Objective:
To work closely with the Purchasing stakeholders to lead the daily data management agenda (i.e. creation / maintenance of Purchasing KPI's covering Quality, Cost & Delivery metrics. Focal point for data management of suppliers for Commodity Management team.

The Purchasing Master Data Manager will work under close supervision and will be highly organized and detail-oriented with an understanding of ERP/MRP systems. Purchasing Master Data Manager to provide support to our Purchasing Business Process Manager. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of master data, assisting with data control, and ensuring compliance with data governance policies and procedures.

Authorities:
This position has the authority to initiate supplier creations and educate and monitor the processes associated with the purchasing department and maintain the data and information required for internal audits.

Travel specifictity
5-10% possible International and/or Domestic travel to support internal departmental and/ or supplier related tasks.

Additional description
Main Function Responsibilities

A) Assist Commodity Managers in new supplier creation process and maintenance of documentation
B) Producing and monitoring dashboards
C) Data accuracy in preparation for new ERP and data management system
D) Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations and especially internal standards at Safran
E) Assist with the development and implementation of master data management strategies and processes
F) Assist with the implementation and maintenance of data quality control procedures, including data cleansing and de-duplication.
G) Collaborate with other departments to ensure that master data management procedures are followed, and that data is in compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
H) Respond to inquiries from internal departments regarding master data, data governance policies and procedures, and data quality control.
I) Assist with the development of data governance policies and procedures to improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
J) Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
K) Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
L) Other duties as assigned

Candidate skills & requirements
Qualification Requirement:

A. Education & Qualification:
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous experience in or knowledge of purchasing/procurement preferred.

B. Work Experience:
• Must be proficient in the operation of office computers.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
• Excellent organizational skills; must have ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize those tasks as required.
• Must be able to interface with all departments within the company, as well as external customers.
• Must have the ability to generate written communication and letter composition.
• Must possess the ability to read and review written communication and instruction is required.
• Speech and hearing abilities are required to allow the incumbent to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
• Must be detailed oriented, with proficiency in grammar and general office etiquette.
• Must demonstrate reasoning ability, problem solving skills, and the ability to think strategically
