Piper Companies is looking for a Purification Scientist to be responsible for purification of antibodies, column building, labeling of antibodies working for a Biotechnology company in Bedford, PA .

Responsibilities for the Purification Scientist include:
• Column building of affinity columns for purification technicians
• Development of labelling and Conjugations processes of antibodies for production scale
• Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records (BR) as needed
• Assist in filling, labeling and finished good inspection
• Oversee all purification personnel.
• Operate Basic Laboratory and Analytical equipment
• Assist in preparation of investigation reports as part of the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program

Qualifications for the Purification Scientist include:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with a minimum of 3-5 years experience.
• Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively

Compensation for the Purification Scientist include:
• Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
• Relocation provided if necessary
