Python Data Engineer

Location: Must sit onsite in Chicago, IL

Setting: hybrid (Mon & Fri remote/Tue-Thu onsite)

Contract: 5 months+

pay rate: $70+

Python Data Engineer:

Looking for Experienced Engineer with Python, Data modeling, data bricks and financial services preferred (financial background).

Accounting ledger system- taking information about accounts and building up a store of information and tracking. Team will be focused on moving data from other systems into new ledger system.

They already have dedicated data modelers already so focus in on python data engineers- having data modeling, especially within finance, will make the candidate stand out, but role is focused on Python Engineer, ETL, AWS Experience as well.

AWS- S3, Lambda, data lakes are main tools.

Spark Framework not important for this group.

Experience Required:

• 6+ years of Python Data Engineering with some data modeling experience.
• 3-4 years of engineering experience if they have a heavy background in financial data modeling.

• Developing new credit card processing engine for CC account ledger
• Data engineers are required for pipeline modeling/development
• Finance background desirable
• Required tech stack: Python, AWS (dynamo DB), data bricks
• Data modeling experience preferred
