Piper Life Sciences is actively seeking a QC Operations Consultant to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility that is brand new and going to be the largest end-to-end cell culture manufacturing facility in Northern America. The QC Operations Consultant will be responsible for implementing LEAN lab principals, looking at technologies, efficiencies, and workflows to optimize QC operations. This is a Monday-Friday role, located on-site in Holly Springs, NC.

Responsibilities of the QC Operations Consultant include:

• Implement LEAN lab principles to help with technology integration for QC operations
• Collaborate with the sister facility in Denmark to ensure similar LEAN lab operations are being followed
• Streamline workflows by reducing unnecessary steps and improving layout to minimized movement of samples and environement
• Implement standardized work procedures
• Utilize value stream mapping to visualize process flow and identify and resolve bottlenecks
• Increase process capacity so more value-adding work can be performed with existing resources
• Make processes visible s everyone can monitor daily progress to achieve improvement goals

Qualifications for the QC Operations Consultant include:

• B.S. in a scientific discipline or related field
• 10 plus years of related Quality Control Operation Management experience
• LEAN lab operations experience
• Technology integration for QC operations

• Compensation: This is a competitive bid process, and selections will be made based on qualifications and rate
