Volt is currently looking for a Quality Control Technician / Lab Technician in Stockton, CA.

As a QC Tech / Lab Tech, you will:

Inspect the quality of the product and take samples to the lab. Document processes and work with the Lab and quality control team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct routine chemistry analyses and physical measurements, including, but not limited to, BX, pH, viscosity and color.
• Report to and support the Laboratory Manager with laboratory activities and operations.
• Must understand physical and chemical analytical methods and equipment (food product or food ingredient testing desirable)
• Perform analytical measurements on samples, log and report results, collect, analyze, and interpret lab results, as well as general lab, equipment, and supplies maintenance and coordination.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Ideal candidates must:

• Perform physical work as needed.
• Must have laboratory experience.
• Inspect the product.
• Work overtime as needed, especially during the busy season.
• Be flexible to work Monday - Saturday, 40+ hrs. a week.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Have good organizational skills.
• Have a high level of attention to detail.
• Have the ability to multitask.
• Have a valid Driver's license.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Monday-Friday 7 am-3:30 pm Sat OT as needed.

Pay Rate: $ 18.00 hr. - $21.00 hr. DOE

The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
