Description

Responsibilities:

• Quality check all customer orders to ensure orders are 100% complete and all products are of highest quality.
• Repack grocery items and other goods making sure that orders are packed according to packing standards.
• Communicate intradepartmental and interdepartmental when need arises.
• Follow all Food Safety Practices specific to department and warehouse.
• Ensure that work area is always maintained within safety and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain productivity standards with processing of customer orders (Scanning and Packing).
• Maintain a team player mentality by assisting others.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• In a work day: standing/walking 6-10 hours or more
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Constant exposure to temperatures: <-10 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators)
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Education and Qualifications:

• Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
• Must be able to work holidays.
• Must be able to start overnight or early morning hours (start times vary by department).
• Must be comfortable in warehouse/production environment.
• Ability to meet production and accuracy standards in a fast-paced work environment.
• Able to stand and walk for long period of times.
• Ability to push, pull, squat, twist, kneel, reach, turn and bend.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs intermittently during a typical work shift.
• Comfortable and able to work a 6-12hr shift (hours per day are based on business need).
• Work a shift of 6 - 12 hours a day
• Must be able to stand for majority of your shift.
• Ability to work in climate from 28 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Required to wear oil and slip resistant shoes.
• Strong communication skills.
