Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester with a Secret clearance to support KDS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Assess business process and system inefficiencies
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
  • Perform all software testing and quality control/quality assurance management procedures, track and analyzing key metrics, monitor quality procedures and participate in software reviews and testing.
  • Evaluate, recommend and implement automated test tools and strategies, develops, maintains and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products, writes, implements and reports status for system test cases for testing and analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.
  • Ensure all test cases and results are created/updated and stored
  • DevOps and uploaded at the end of each business day to ensure no loss of work accomplished.
  • Perform required testing based upon Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done, assuring software and systems quality and functionality.
  • Developing documentation based upon Agile Scrum best practices and the Customer SDM.
  • Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in quality assurance testing
  • Agile Methodologies (2 Years)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
  • Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
  • Secret clearance required.

Good to Have - But Not Required:

This helps differentiate between two or more good candidates.
  • Experience with low-code platforms such as Salesforce, Appian, ServiceNow

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
