Job Title: Quality Control Lab Investigator
Location: Rocky Mount, NC
Pay: $30-$35/hr
Duration: Contract (potential to extend/convert)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures strict adherence to company, site, and laboratory safety rules, promptly reporting any identified safety issues to management.
• Demonstrates a commitment to always following procedures, embracing cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and cGDP (Current Good Documentation Practice) practices.
• Possesses strong technical competencies in a range of analytical techniques, including both non-instrumental wet chemistry techniques and advanced instrumental techniques such as GC, HPLC, AA, FTIR, and ICP-MS.
• Familiarity with package components testing and knowledge of related requirements.
• Exhibits a general understanding of manufacturing processes and associated documentation, contributing valuable insights to investigations and problem-solving initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science field is required, and an advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a science-related position, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience and understanding of basic non-instrumental wet chemistry techniques such as manual titrations, pH, conductivity, autotitrators , UV-Vis, polarimeter, as well as more advanced techniques like GC, HPLC, AA, FTIR, etc.
• Capable of organizing data from multiple sources, extracting key information, and writing reports and summaries.
• Familiarity with TrackWise, LIMS, SAP DMS, rDoc, PDOC systems, and change control is preferred.
