Position Overview:

Procom is recruiting a Quality Control Specialist - Environmental Monitoring for our client's Advanced Cellular Therapeutics Facility in Chapel Hill, NC. This full-time role is vital for the oversight and management of the facility's environmental monitoring program. The position requires a proactive individual who can independently develop, implement, and manage the environmental monitoring processes, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the establishment and maintenance of the Environmental Monitoring (EM) program, including the creation of baseline studies and ongoing process improvements.
• Execute and manage EM testing and monitoring schedules, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and cleanroom qualifications.
• Analyze EM data, investigate deviations, and implement corrective actions to improve facility environmental conditions.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure a sustainable and effective EM program.
• Provide training and guidance on aseptic techniques, gowning qualifications, and cleanroom best practices.
• Contribute to the development and revision of SOPs, policies, and technical documentation related to environmental monitoring.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of GMP and its application in an academic manufacturing setting.

Preferred Experience:

• Three or more years of experience in a GMP facility (salary may be increased for additional experience).
