Job Description:

Quality control tech needs 2+ years' in a professional, manufacturing, or laboratory setting

Quality control tech requires:

• High school diploma or GED
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
• Be able to safely work with chemicals in a laboratory and manufacturing environment
• Preferred: Associates degree in sciences or some college coursework
• Knowledge of basic laboratory practices
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Quality control tech duties:

• Responsible for quality control within a manufacturing facility
• Monitor equipment performance by completing routine standards checks
• Perform incoming inspections of raw materials shipments and property data
• File, maintain, and appropriately dispose of raw material, quality retain, and finished product inventories
• Comply with weekly 5S standards including sweeping, mopping, organizing, and trash removal.
