SUMMARY
The Quality Control Technician ensures the consistent quality and performance of our products. They will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, tests, and evaluations throughout the production process, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions. The Quality Control Technician collaborates closely with production teams to maintain the highest standards of product quality and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Performs basic inspections of incoming parts and outgoing products
• Reports non-conformance of incoming materials to Senior Quality Technician
• Understands requirements for incoming parts and know where to find inspection records
• Performs basic problem solving
• Attends RCCM and RIE
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. occasionally, movement within an office complex and outside in the field
• Write by hand and keyboard
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills required
• Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use

QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Previous experience in quality control or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with testing equipment, measurement tools, and quality assurance methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Basic computer skills and experience with quality control software or systems.
• Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to drive process improvements.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
